It helps us collate your print sets in the correct order!
By following these naming standards you can help us ensure your print orders are filled quickly and correctly.
We could rename your files to conform to numerical standards for you but we encourage you to do so your self because you are best qualified to put them in the correct order.
This is how you should name your drawing files:
Start your file name with a number, most drawing sets work well with a 3 digit number 001-999. The leading zeros help the computer to sort the sheets in the correct order. You can follow this with the drawing name such as (Site Plan) and finally the sheet number such as (A-1).
For example:
001 Title Sheet T-1.pdf
002 Grading Plan C-1.pdf
003 Site Plan A-1.pdf"
004 Floor Plan A-2.pdf"
etc.
You can also add a
revision date or delta number.
003 Site Plan A-1 rev09-30-08.pdf
Thank for helping us ensure that your drawing sets are always in the correct order.
